Engr. (Dr) Osa Owieadolor , FNSE

Member, BOT • Chairman, Endowment Committee

Engr. Osa Owieadolor is a seasoned Nigerian Oil & Gas professional with over 30 years of industry experience, including roles at Texaco Overseas, Shell Petroleum, and as CEO of Platform Petroleum Ltd.

He has more than 15 years of board experience, currently serving on the boards of Midwestern Oil and Gas Limited, Transnational Energy Ltd, Trustrock Energy Ltd, Nosak Distilleries Ltd and Shepherd Trust Microfinance Bank.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Benin, an Executive MBA from Lagos Business School, and is a General Management Programme (GMP) alumnus of Harvard Business School. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and a life member of the Chartered Institute of Directors.

Passionate about youth empowerment and human capital development, he founded and chairs the Bedrock Human Development Foundation and serves on the board of Lighthouse University in Edo State. Engr. Owieadolor enjoys community service, golf, and supports Arsenal Football Club. He is happily married and blessed with children.

Rev. Mustapha Ohiorenuwa JIMOH-KADIRI

Rev. Mustapha Ohiorenuwa JIMOH-KADIRI serves as the Assistant General Superintendent of Gospel Light International Ministries (New Covenant Gospel Church). He is also the District Superintendent of Lower Delta District and the resident Pastor of Family Worship Centre (NCGC). With over three decades of pastoral experience, Rev. Jimoh-Kadiri mentors young ministers and provides spiritual guidance.

He holds key positions, including:

  • Member of the National Ministerial Council (GLIM)
  • Council Member, Lighthouse University, Evbuobanosa, Benin.
  • Council Member, College of Nursing, IUTH, Okada.
  • Proprietor, Land of Mercy Academy, Ovbiogie, Benin-city.

Apart from his pastoral role, Rev. Jimoh-Kadiri is a seasoned administrator, having retired as the Director of Administration at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital. He is married to Rev. Dr. Sidi Jimoh-Kadiri, and they are blessed with three children and grandchildren.

Hon. (Mrs) Irene Atseruneyioritse Imilar

Hon. (Mrs) Irene Atseruneyioritse Imilar is a distinguished educationist, seasoned public servant, and accomplished legislator with a rich legacy of service spanning education, governance, and peacebuilding in Nigeria.

Born on 3rd December 1957 in Delta State, she hails from Warri North Local Government Area. Her academic journey reflects a deep commitment to learning and professional development. She attended St. Luke’s Primary School, Sapele, and Zik Grammar School, Sapele, before proceeding to the Institute of Education, University of Benin, where she obtained the National Certificate in Education (NCE). She later earned a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from the University of Benin.

Hon. Imilar began her career in the teaching profession at Itohan Girls Grammar School, Benin City, where she served with dedication for over a decade. Her transition into educational administration saw her serve as Secretary to the Warri North Local Education Authority, after which she rose to become the Executive Chairman of the Delta State Post Primary Education Board, Asaba, where she served two consecutive terms.

Her passion for public service propelled her into legislative leadership as a two-term Honourable Member representing Warri North Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly (2007–2015). During her tenure, she distinguished herself through advocacy for educational development, youth empowerment, and community advancement.

Beyond the legislature, Hon. Imilar has played strategic roles in governance and conflict resolution. She has served as a Member of the Advisory Council to the Governor on Prerogative of Mercy and as Executive Assistant to the Governor on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution.

Her commitment to leadership excellence is further demonstrated through her participation in prestigious international programmes, including executive courses at the University of Oxford, the University of California, Berkeley (Goldman School of Public Policy), and the University of Manchester Business School.

Hon. Imilar’s contributions have earned her numerous awards and recognitions, including the Niger Delta Female Legislator of the Year Award, the Delta State Merit Award for her stance against examination malpractice.

She currently serves as a Member of the Governing Council and the Endowment Committee of the University, where she brings her wealth of experience in governance, education, and public service to support institutional growth and sustainability. A woman of grace and substance, Hon. Imilar enjoys travelling, reading, singing, and horticulture, with a special love for flowers.

Hon. (Mrs) Irene Atseruneyioritse Imilar

Engr. Smart Omo Omoragbon , FCIPE

Engr. Smart Omo Omoragbon is a highly accomplished electrical and power systems engineer with extensive experience in energy management, grid operations, and supervisory control systems in Nigeria’s power sector.

He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), following earlier technical training at the NEPA Training Centre, Afam. His professional credentials include membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) as a Registered Engineer, and Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Power Engineers (FCIPE).

A seasoned expert in SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems and power operations, Engr. Smart Omo Omoragbon has undergone advanced international training with global industry leaders, including ABB in Sweden and Switzerland, Siemens in Nuremberg, Germany, and specialized SCADA programmes in China and Dubai.

His distinguished career spans critical institutions within Nigeria’s power infrastructure, including the National Control Centre (NCC), Osogbo; Supplementary National Control Centre (SNCC), Shiroro; Benin Regional Control Centre (BRCC), Benin City; and the Lagos Regional Control Centre (LRCC), Lagos, where he served as Head. He also contributed significantly to operations at Delta Power Station, Ughelli, and the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC).

He retired in 2018 as Assistant General Manager (Operations), Lagos Region, after decades of impactful service marked by technical excellence, leadership, and commitment to national power stability.

Currently an entrepreneur, Engr. Smart Omo Omoragbon is a member of the Lighthouse University Endowment Committee whose wealth of industry experience, strategic insight, and a strong commitment to sustainable development and institutional advancement are significant to the Committee.

Deaconess Mabel Ewansiha

Member, BOT

Deaconess Mabel Ewansiha is a distinguished agricultural development leader, with over three decades of impact in agricultural production, extension services, rural development, and public sector programme leadership. Renowned for her ability to bridge policy, practice, and community engagement, she has played a pivotal role in advancing sustainable agriculture and strengthening livelihoods across Nigeria.

Currently serving as Chief Extension Officer at Radiant Health Foods, Mabel leads high-impact initiatives that equip farmers with the knowledge, tools, and strategies required to thrive in evolving agricultural landscapes. Her work integrates technical expertise with practical implementation, driving improvements in crop production and productivity, crop processing, storage and utilisation, soil management, irrigation systems, fisheries, and cost-efficient farming practices.

In the course of her career in the public service, she held senior leadership positions within the Edo State Agricultural Development Programme and the Ministry of Agriculture, where she consistently delivered large-scale programmes with measurable socio-economic impact.

She has served as Head, Women in Agriculture, Director of Extension Services, and the Programme Manager, Edo State Agricultural Development Programme, contributing to agricultural policy implementation, leading multidisciplinary teams, and fostering strategic partnerships with government bodies, development agencies, and international stakeholders.

This distinguished public service journey culminated in her appointment as a Permanent Secretary. In this capacity, she provided strategic direction, policy leadership, and administrative oversight at the highest level of government. She earned a strong reputation for diligence, sound judgement, and exceptional work ethics.

Mabel’s leadership is rooted in a deep commitment to inclusive and community-driven development. She championed the IFAD (International Fund for Agricultural Development) and the IBRD (World Bank)-assisted community-based programmes focused on farm families, women, and youth in agriculture, ensuring that marginalised groups gain access to critical resources, training, skill acquisition, and opportunities. Her work in the Community-based Natural Resource Management and other poverty alleviation programmes has significantly strengthened resilience and long-term sustainability in rural communities.

She holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Extension from the University of Benin and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Biology (Crop Protection) from the University of Ibadan. She has also undertaken structured professional, leadership, and management trainings at specialized institutions worldwide. Her expertise includes strategic programme design, stakeholder engagement, research-driven decision-making, and large-scale capacity building.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Mabel is a devoted child of God, serving actively and impactfully at New Covenant Gospel Church, Benin City. She holds an Advanced Diploma in Theology from the Redeemed Christian Bible College, Nigeria. She is married and blessed with four children.

Rev (Prof) David Osifo

Rev (Prof) David Osifo is a Professor of Paediatric Surgery and a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at the University of Benin and University of Benin Teaching Hospital respectively.

He is currently a Pastor at New Covenant Gospel Church, an Hon. Commissioner at the Edo State Judicial Service Commission, and a member of the Governing Council of Lighthouse University, Evbuobanosa, Benin City.

He previously served as the Governing Council Chairman of Edo State College of Agriculture, Iguoriakhi (2009 - 2012), a Member of the Board of Directors of LAPO (2014 - 2017), and as the Hon. Commissioner of Health for Edo State (2017 - 2019).

He is happily married with four children.
